Fall Season Begins Friday Sept 17

Each year, Clinton Sease Farm in Lexington transforms itself into an Autumn wonderland with large sunflower and wildflower fields (perfect for Fall pictures), a big corn maze (this year’s theme is appropriately dedicated to First Responders) and a huge pumpkin patch just ripe for pickin’! Saluda Shoals Jazz Series

Fridays Sept 17 and Sept 24   7pm

Join your friends at Saluda Shoals Park for live jazz outdoors on the deck! Food, beer and wine will be available for purchase. Seating is provided. This Friday Reggie Sullivan and The Congaree Saints. Sept 24 Les Flat Out Strangers. Tix are $10. Get them here.

7th Anniversary Celebration! Swamp Cabbage Brewing

Sunday Sept 19  12pm – 8pm

Seven years! Family-owned Swamp Cabbage Brewing Company began as an extension of a beer-brewing hobby by two local brothers. Today it’s one of Columbia’s signature breweries, known for its laid-back comfortable surroundings and its incredibly refreshing brews. This anniversary, they’re bringing in 3 bands providing live music non-stop! Traye Horne Band, Carter Lybrand and the Black Bottom Biscuits! Fall Family Farm Day at Old McCaskill’s Farm

Saturday October 2   10am – 5pm

Come join us Saturday, October 2 from 10AM-5PM at Old McCaskill’s Farm for Fall Family Farm Day! Bring the whole family and enjoy live music, farm fresh concessions and good ole’ farm fun! 4th Annual Greek Festival
Thursday Sept 16 –  Sunday Sept 19
Location: Holy Trinity Greek Church. The 2021 Columbia’s Greek Festival has been changed to a drive through event. The great Greek dinners, salads, gyros, souvlaki, pastries and frozen casseroles will be available at the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Cathedral parking lot located in the 1900 block of Sumter Street. Riverbanks ZOOfari

Fall Arts and Crafts Show
Saturday and Sunday Sept 17 – 18 Location: South Carolina State Farmers Market. The Midlands Crafters Association is a local crafters guild hosts three events annually at the South Carolina State Farmers Market! Always Over 100 vendors selling unique items. More on Facebook. 
Indoor Yard Sale
Saturday Sept 18  7am – 11am Location: Seven Oaks Park. Clean out your garage, attic, and closets and participate as a vendor or drop by for some great bargains and treasures. More here.
Saluda Shoals River Sweep
Saturday Sept 18  9am – 12pm Location: Saluda Shoals Park. Help Saluda Shoals Park keep the Lower Saluda River free of litter and waste for everyone to enjoy!  The park will provide attendees with trash bags and grabbers.  A small number of canoes will be available for attendees to use.  More here.
Jubilee Festival of Black History and Culture
Saturday Sept 18   11am – 6pm Location: Manns-Simons Site. Jubilee is a celebration everyone can enjoy and features live music and entertainment, artist demonstrations, historic storytelling, reenactors and marketplace vendors selling a variety of ware, products and art. Wednesday October 13 We are reviving the Daytripper Club! Most of our day-trips are self-driving.
