Boondock Farms

Boondock Farms' Donkey

Welcome to Boondocks Farm in Jackson, SC (near Aiken).  Laura and Jarrett, the proprietors and farmers, craved a simple country life and settled on a beautiful property where they enjoy just that – a simple life. They love putting in a hard day’s work, sitting under the stars with a campfire at their feet, listening to their favorite bluegrass jams. They’d be delighted to share their experience with you!

Their retail store is open from April – December on Saturdays from 10am-2pm and they offer jams, jellies, ciders, and pickles. They carry local goods like The Sauce BBQ Sauce, Roots and Leaves Elderberry Syrup and Magnesium Butter. They have custom Boondock Farms Salt Soak for your bath. Also, they carry Clemson’s Best Ice Cream, seasonal produce, and home grown garlic!

They allow families to walk the grounds and take the trails to the pond. They give tours when they can, so folks can visit the goats, donkey, and chickens with an escort. (It gets really busy on Vendor Market Days, so that may not be possible on those days)

Every second Saturday of the month is Vendor Market Day, when they host artists, farmers, and food vendors for a farmers market and you’re invited! The next upcoming event is July 10th from 10am – 2pm. Delicious barbeque plates from Que at the Shop and live music from Colin and Friends, as well as vendors, including:

  • Doyle’s Candle Shoppe
  • River Valley Soap

  • Down to Earth by Farmer Anne
