You’re invited to do just that as well as pick your own lavender bouquets at King George Lavender Farm in Barnwell, South Carolina (just 68 miles from the SC State House in Columbia)!

King George Lavender Farm opened in 2020 and is the culmination of a dream for George and Elinor Poole. They purchased the 80 acres on which they grow lavender in 2016 and added 35 acres last year. It’s a family affair as the Pooles’ adult children and grandchildren each do their part to support the endeavor. Three varieties of lavender are grown. The farm produces its own line of bath and body products like soap, lotions, and bath salts as well as linen sprays, room sprays, bug repellents, and more. These items are available in the farm store and online here.
