
Located off Corley Mill Road in Lexington South Carolina, The Farm 1780 has been in the same family for 8 generations. In 2017, Brett Flashnick inherited what was remaining of the original land grant, and he and his wife McKenzie began their farming adventure. Determined to do what is best for the farm, the soil and the food it produces, the Flashnicks undertook a study of all types of homestead farming practices and have developed their own unique approach to the land. They grow using responsible and transparent methods.

Selling seasonal fruits and veggies as well as heritage livestock, The FARMstand is open for business on Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday afternoons (check current hours here.) They also host a growing number of events including:

First Harvest Farmers Market: Event is set for Saturday April 30th from 10am – 2pm. The FARMstand will have fresh produce, farm-fresh eggs, and merchandise available. There will be fun for kids, food trucks & adult-only drinks from the FARMcrafted Bar. Other farmers and artisans from across the area will be on-site with their products as well, including Crazy Chic Heritage Farm meat farmer, Adams Apple Co. apple butter and more, ReSoil compost boxes, hand-rolled cigars from Stoney Creek Cigars, The Nut House pecans, The Succulent Shed with their succulents and more! Mother’s Day Cooking Class and Brunch: Event is set for Saturday May 7 from 10:30am – 12:30pm. Enjoy mimosas made with farm fresh ingredients, and a brunch with a mouth-watering menu. Let’s Cook Culinary School will lead the group to learn how to make many interesting and delicious dishes, using local fresh ingredients.
