The simplest things in life are often the very best things in life. A freshly-plucked peach in its pink-cheeked splendor is a sight to behold and when you bite down into its sweet peachy deliciousness – WOW, right? Or orchard-fresh apricots with their tantalizing golden hue and their succulent sweetness – it makes it so hard to stop eating! And if you can beat the birds to vine-ripened blackberries on a warm summer morning, you know the sensation you get when you plop an enormous one into your mouth and squish the little pockets of wondrous berry juice? Hard to come up with something better, isn’t it?

Welcome to MacGregor Orchard in Travelers Rest, SC. where Stephens and Julia Gregory grow 11 types of fruit and 100+varieties! Apples, apricots, peaches, nectarines, figs, muscadines, Asian and standard pears, persimmons, and plums! Orchard products also include their own fruit preserves, apple butter, apple cider, applesauce, and honey. About 1 mile from the orchard, they pasture-raise Black Angus cattle and sell beef products at their farm store.

The couple is well-loved and appreciated by the Travelers Rest community. Stephens was awarded “Farmer of the Year” by the Greenville County Soil & Water Conservation District in the Spring of 2022. Folks travel from far and wide to stock up on the bounty of the harvest from MacGregor Orchard. The fruit that is sold in their store is peak-harvested. Stop by the farm store and pick up a brimming basket of juicy fruit that’s ready for snacking, baking, or canning! The store also sells farm-fresh produce and eggs from local farmers.
